Happy owner of s 68 2000 solex
Bought in October , drove at -4 C with no heater from Vancouver BC to Edmonton Alberta Canada. Yeah... I can’t feel my feet, nose, hands .
Nothin but bright blue sky the entire 1400km drive .
I’ve replaced the worn interior trim around the windshield frame, changed oil, in the process of polishing the valve cover, next project is recovering the center console with vendor kit. Purchased most of the rubber trim to be installed. Gave it a good wax, removed years of paint oxidation. Installed some LED lighting, purchased inexpensive driving lights. So keeping busy . Can’t wait till spring . The joys of living in a place that get -30c .

Nice looking car, and the highly desirable 160mph speedometer!

Only 2 pics are right-side up. Are you using an iPhone to post pics and/or pics taken with an iPhone?

Fix the heater yet? I've decided to drive mine when ever the roads are dry ... no matter the temperature

Welcome... another Edmonton area roadster!

I did the same trip, bought my '69 in Maple Ridge and drove home through the Fraser Canyon with my wife driving the chase pickup. Stopped for gas in Kamloops and I said: "How fast was I going though the canyon? 120 - 130 Kph?"

"96" she replied

oh.

We'll be doing some summer fun runs in the area, will keep you posted for our club activities.

Cheers,
