What Android phone do you have?.
Image Shrink Lite on Android works for me.
Perhaps your pics are too big to be measured accurately by the phone. Try shrinking a pic then seeing if it will show up.

Already had Ted do that. I'm getting the same error he is.

Very weird. Don't know how, but somehow the pics appear to have lost their embedded info. Working in the garage right now, so will research more later this evening or tomorrow.

Googling on the error indicates this originally was a phpBB (the forum software) problem, but it was resolved in early 2018. I then tried multiple things on the two files Ted emailed me (one taken in 2012 using a Kodak digital camera, the other in 2018 using Motorola G6 smartphone).

- Renaming the file.
- Resizing the file.
- Opening the file in MS Paint or Paint 3D (standard apps in Windows 10), then saving it without doing anything.
- Opening the file in MS Paint or Paint 3D, then saving it in another format. In this case, PNG.
- Opening the file in Paint 3D, then copying it into MS Paint, and saving as JPG or PNG.

The last option worked on the recent pic taken with the smartphone:

Absolutely NOTHING worked on the older pic taken with the Kodak digital camera. The only option left I can think of is using an image hosting site like imgur or Postimage. Thank you Microsoft for killing that functionality in OneDrive. I may try that later. Right now, I'm tired of playing with this.

If someone can resolve this easier, please share.

Pete,
THANKS for the help.
Not sure if it is a practical solution but it
may give Steve more data to help resolve the problem.

Is it a roadster thing where all of you guys drive with the top down even though it's cold outside?

It's a convertible thing , especially for us Northerners we drive them whenever we can (and sometimes when we shouldn't )

This is how we do it in Montreal

In that instance, it's also because a Toyota Solara convertible looks like total $h!t with the top up.
