It mounts on the inside and is 1/8" thick.

I’m working on the prototype now. It would great if I could find someone in the San Francisco Bay Area to fit to a car before going into production. So if anyone knows anybody with a early car in the area let them know to reach out to me.

Alvin "jonny8" has a nice '65 SPL on the Peninsula!

Not sure it’s the same firewall. However I’ll check it out and see if it works for the 1500.
