SRLU and SPLU

In one of the Datsun parts books it lists SRLU and SPLU. What does the "U" indicate?

Yeah, Ive seen that too and wondered what a U was.

The U means export version

Typically the U references the US market, but Export is probably more correct.

Hmmm. Interesting as what the difference is between US and other markets. Besides smog devices.
Curious because it's also used for non engine areas.

Interesting. Maybe the U has a different meaning for the high windshields.

Steve,

There is concordance between the two attachments: the low windshields are a subset of the upper part of the flow diagram, so Nissan was consistent with their pubs. (at least in this instance!)
