yep and back home already .. didn't want to drive home during the day , so I left at 10pm . my brother fly's out 8:30 am today so he's gone now too . .. next time . I'm always going down

oh that's not half of it .. then the water was sprayed out -all gone .. hot now and pull off for cool down . haha so I carry water now .. then on the way back , I have the old lever on one carb and a new on the other because it broke where you adjust it .. so ..I'm driving back and all the gauges look good and I'm smelling Fuel and I'm tasting Fuel and it's not going away and it's getting worse and it stinks and I'm getting a headache.. so I figured okay what could be causing that sticking float needle valve thing probably so I pull over and my lever thingy where you adjusted is broken on that one now and it's kind of laying to the side and it's just staying open and dumping fuel through the vent thing.. so was I see what that's all about I said now what do I do so at first I tried tape yeah but it worked for a little bit and then I grabbed a zip tie ...perfect.. I was two exits away from my house and it was flooding itself out so bad I couldn't restart it so I had to figure something else out and that's where I did the zip tie actually gave it the right clearance I think too cuz it ran great.. AND THATS WHY I WANTED TO PUT THE MOTOR TOGETHER .. YOU CAN'T PAY FOR THAT COMFORT OF KNOWING YOU CAN FIX WHAT EVER HAPPENS TO IT.. ! with a little help from y'all sometimes and my other friends who've patiently taught me through my messups , that's what I wanted . that confidence . . when the car sumboes , my stomach doesn't sink .. .. I hated that feeling when driving on a trip . new car, old car , at the mercy of everyone but yourself .. and that usually costs allot . . . so thank you .. more than you know ow .

here's my Jerry rig . still on today ..haha .I have the part to the car ..I just haven't opened it. it seems ,haha, good as is tho .. way better than Gorilla Tape..

oh and total delay , about 35mins . besides the oil plug nut thing . that took a store . oh and the kid at the counter , told me they don't have anything like that .. I said , I know I've made mental note I've seen one B4 so I walked around the walls and found it ... he said , oh look .. haha

I think a spark plug 14 mm thread fits it , and would work in a pinch

wow, I could have used you a couple days ago !

Now that's one for the roadtrip WIKI. sparkplug for oil pan plug and zip tie fix for carb float bowl.

A wine cork can be made to fit too.....
