So pics of things totally unrelated to the thread...... Not too helpful. :(
How about a pic of what you were asking about so we can learn and we are not left hanging about what you were talking about? Also might improve your chances of having your posts read and understood in the future, otherwise too confusing.

Oh ok ... Sorry . Problem fixed and I said but that's is the problem huh . Nobody knows what I'm talking about .. ok I will try . It's back up n the car so I'll have trouble getting pics but I'll figure something out..

Ok I tried to make sense of what I was saying .. in the pictures I have the same color of text as the dots or arrows ,, keeping them together of what it explains . Hope this helps .

This is for aftermarket alternator s cheapos like $35 . Diode is to keep the car from running after key is out and off . Pointing to alt . Fuse is to keep from frying something , don't remember what .. and the excite wire loops back to power post for power .lol.

But weren't those some sick sparkplug wires ?? when I went looking for some 2 years ago all I could find was red and I think maybe a blue besides black and gray.. now look !! Pretty ..

Not sure on those wires, what is going on.
I did notice thAt the grounding point on the frame could be better, though.

Replace your un insulated space connectors with a plug like this:
ACDelco PT2288 Professional Alternator ... RBbCMYJ936

One wire is positive, the other ground. it sounds like those might be touching causing a short to ground.

haha it's a second one. extra . and it was for something else but yeah it doesn't look good but it's clean clean under it . But it can go actually . But it's extra ground so it's still there . I did clean all grounds fresh a year ago .

Well heck , it's perfect and only $5. But shipping is $19.80 haha so $25 for it . I think I'll wait till I have more to order . Shoot. Stupid shipping .. haha. THANKS FOR POINTING ONE OUT .. NOW I KNOW WHERE TO GET ..

You can find them at the parts store, that's where I bought one.

Ebay is full of them, GM 10si alternator pigtail.

Or with the diode built in.
