If this is hard plastic it would seem an easy part to make with a 3D printer. One would need a good sample to make the correct part.

FYI, I finally decided to give in and have a shop make one on these plastic parts for me. I gave my original broken part to the shop to do all the "solid works programming" so it could be output on their 3-D printer. I had a few extras printed. If anyone's interested let me know. I'd like $25 each, to defray the programming and production costs I incurred. I've already sold one to a fellow 67 1/2 owner here in AZ. If by chance I run out I could have more printed. The biggest cost is the programming which I now have. They look just like my pictures above.
