my car
hey guys, these are just a few before pics of my project car. would love to hear what you guys have to say about it. Whether you guys think i should make it custom or try and make it original. Swap the motor or stick with 1.6. All thoughts and oppinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks-Michigan 67

Hey that doesn't look too bad. My car was worse. Run the 1600, if you want more go, stroke it, or put a U20 in. If you start going custom, and start cutting the car can never be the same once you are done with it.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

RE:Your Car
That roadster looks to be in great shape. I am in the process of a swap but would recommend keeping the R in for practicality. The R motors are pretty racy in their own right. If you do need to rebuild the R many parts can be had cheaply from the local Nissan forklift dealer. Good luck with your project and keep us updated as to your progress.

Hmmmmm, that isn't one of the old 'n' rare Parrish hardtops is it?

I stroked my 1600, and have just about got it complete, waiting on my Dellortos's to arrive. Be carefull on what you ask for on the H20. Yes the forklift yard will help you. The one I delt with was great! but the H20 came in more configurations then the R1600. If you use the part number off the Ralle site they can look it up for you and get the right part. My forklift salvage yard was my best friend through this build. Just a heads up.

RE:My Car & H20 Parts
There is a parts manual on the main web site with all of the part numbers.
