Drop blocks/ Cuttin springs.

Post by 67 1/2 1600 »

Anyone ever put drop blocks or cut stuck springs to lower the car? Just a thought some 1" drop blocks would be good on the rear and how much should be cut on the front. Thoughts would be highly appreciated/ Experience.

I have a set of 1 inch lowering blocks on my Stroker. All you need is longer U bolts.

Be very carefull with cutting springs and not having dampers to control them. When you cut a spring, it raises the spring rate, if your dampers aren't up to the task, you get sea sick, and look like one of those ricer guys bouncing their way down the street.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

Its not at all. I got pulled over on my way to get carpet for making an illegal right turn. My fault I should not have been driving without a license.
