C. I recently had the head off, so getting to it was easy. The probe actually came out with the nut holding in. Fortunately, no corrosion anywhere.

Got the car running perfect, installed the air cleaner for the 1st time since I've owned it. Starts up perfectly and seems to run strong. Starter wire keeps coming loose, should have addressed it before the air cleaner went on.

Does anyone have ideas on how to build up the foam pieces on either side of the ashtray and shifter. I pulled off the old vinyl and destroyed the foam as well. Doesn't have to look stock but close if I can.

Why did you remove the plastic? I'm guessing spray foam great stuff and a razor knife is the answer

"Why did you remove the plastic?"

Good question, kind of wish I didn't at this point.

Looks like that arm rest console was recovered before. At this point you might call around and see what it would cost to recover it. You have done some of the work already. Mine needs rehab too but most shops are closed.
The center console looks pretty good. The 303 vinyl protectant spray is really good stuff to bring back some life into vinyl.
You can respray your radio console like I did, not too hard.
The shifter plate with the shift numbers on it can be painted or covered.

I used Great Stuff on my dash. You can work it with a cutting wheel or grinder in your Dremel.

I went to start the car yesterday, it's been a month or two since the last time I started it. Hood is off, so I reach in to pull the choke cables while turning the key. It starts up almost instantly.

I noticed that if I pull the choke on the front carb only, it revs higher than if I pull the choke on the rear carb only. Should they be equal or do I have some fine tuning to do on the choke levers.

Looks great! That's definitely a "to do" project of mine too! I have the supplies. Just need that motivation you got there.

I scraped, sanded, cleaned, and painted SEM Rusts Shield on it. Very similar to POR 15

Got a new battery for the mighty roadster this weekend and went to start it up. It starts just fine with the choke cables pulled, will rev up. But won't run without the chokes on. As soon as I take it off the choke, It simply dies out, wont' rev up. The engine temp is warm to hot.

I had it running so good a month or so ago.

What happened?????????????
