HOT. Mid 90's.
Explored some roads for future drives on Thursday.
Large turnout on Thursday night for the ice cream social.
Great turnout of 15 roadsters for the morning drive.
Did a short drive due the heat. Up the road to 8000' and cooler temp on Mt Shasta.

Glad to see Damn it Bill and company all arrived. Have fun ya all. Do go explore the river, falls and pools in the area. The large falls in the area there were named one of the most scenic in the country by a former president.

Great pics as usual Ted! Who does the red 1600 with the super clean motor belong to? It is without a doubt the cleanest 1600 engine bay I've ever seen! Kudos to the owner for all the hard work.

First time attender from Colorado.
Long time owner. Just finished complete restoration after the usual 30 years in the garage.
Mike Young pointed out the correct original color distributor cap.

I saw Damn it Bill's black 1600 (actually has a 2 liter push rod engine) before going to Shasta... man did it look good! If that does not win people s choice or something I'll cry foul!

Well, Bill himself is a People's Choice Winner.

His roadster looked good in 2014. IIRC, he had eliminated the wacky thermostat tower, and was running the flat top JDM 38mm SU's from the L18 SSS.

Did he rebuild it since then?
