Steve that P/N is drying up. In So Cal no go with Advance Auto Parts in store or shipped. I have another part coming in with a Dorman P/N that I THINK will be right. I'll let you know when I get it.

Okay, will wait for an update. No sense in putting outdated info in the wiki if we know better. Thanks.

Someone might checkout :
Balkamp Brand NAPA: https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_6413312

American Grease Stick (AGS ) branded adaptors found here:

AUTOZONE : https://www.autozone.com/brakes-and-tra ... 835279_0_0

ADVANCE AUTO : https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/ame ... 22190106-P

I'll try to keep looking for more cross references....Dorman seems to be somewhat inconclusive by description and pictures...

Well Dorman 788-520 is a no go = Convex on convex for adapter to wheel cylinder. Saw some pictures showing both concave and convex.

Can confirm "Adapter BLF-29C" $4.99 from Autozone works in as much as the threads do spin together cleanly and convex / concave all align. 13/16 wheel cylinder in photo is Centric 134.42100 ($8 Rock Auto + ship) Also paired with SAE aftermarket SS line that I bought from Raising Sun a couple years back.

BIG BUT...so proceed with caution. To the best of my Jethro Bodine ciphering the adapter adds 3/4 of an inch vs all OEM components with no adapter. So, can the hardline accommodate that extra length?????? I have some concerns that it will be an issue, but I'm not in a position to be able to test fit.

I ordered Adapter BLF-29C and should have it in about 5 days. I don’t think bending the lines to accommodate should be a big deal. I’ll let you guys know how it goes.

I don't have flare tools or the experience / talent to make the flares even if I did. But I would think a Brake shop wouldn't charge much to lop off a little bit of the hard line and re-flare it to length if you find you can't bend it enough to fit.

No tweaking of the Hardline required?

I also just realized that the centric 134.42100, 13/16 wheel cylinder I bought doesn't come with the emergency brake lever. None of the three or four different wheel cylinders listed on Rockauto for the Datsun 510 come with them. Did you reuse the original lever? It mated up ok with the new wheel cylinder? Photo wise from what I found on the net the E - levers "appear" to be identical.

Thanks

I used Brakebest wc96472 Cylindars. After installing the adapters the specs was tight but after some finessing you’ll get your lines in without the need for bending. The new arm fit perfectly and required no replacement/modification.

Good to know. The P/N for the E-lever is different between the 510 and the Roadster. They look identical and you verified they work identical. Not sure why Nissan would have a different P/N when they seemingly are identical.
