What kind of hose are people using for this? I see the one on Datsunparts.com but don't want to spend 70 on a hose. Any alternatives?

Not to be "that guy" but usually heater hose is made out of EPDM, which isn't compatible with oil and will break-down over time. I guess the question is how long based on the exposure from the crank case vapor.

Don't know. Mine has been on for a year with no visible component breakdown. Maybe ask the original poster. He put his on 8 years ago and may, or may not still have it. For me though, at $11 delivered, I'll takes my chances and replace when and if I see any breakdown of the rubber.
