I am not sure where you got the dashpad from but I can make an educated guess. I have installed two from vendor A--the reproductions and they fit like a glove. I have installed one from vendor B and it fit well but not perfect. I am not taking any sides here I am just stating the facts from my own experience. Did you have to use spacers on the top part of the dash where the windshield sits? I did not use spacers on any of the ones I installed. Can you take a picture or two so we can see what it looks like? The dashpads are all made from a mold I believe so there cannot be much difference between pads except vendor to vendor. The biggest problem I had was the mounting bolts as some of them were so rusted in they snapped off. Any one else have this problem?

I did not experience brittle snap/turn studs, but I wish someone had recommended removing my steering wheel first. I also had to shorten the starter -wheel ring cover to accomodate the difference in spacing. Sam
