Headrest again.

Hey fellas. Shamus here. I’m looking for headrests for a 69. I wanna try to keep her stock as much as possible. Can I just buy the adaptor?? Can somebody point me in the right direction. Thanks again.

Sometimes seats get swapped into our car.
Assuming you have the original '69 seats, they will have the tubes inside the seat backs for head rests.
You may have covers that don't have the grommets for the head rests, will need to be added.
Post a picture of the front and back of the seat for conformation they are high windshield seats.

Ok. I confirmed I have the headrest tubes in my seats. No grommets but I can definitely feel the two tube openings on top of the seats. Where can I find the headrests and grommets? Thanks for any advice and leads. It’s all coming along quite nicely folks. Shamus.

Place a WTB late headrests in the classified wanted thread.

You can buy the grommets on line, but you also need to buy the tool.

Might be cheaper/easier to pull you seat backs and take them to a shop.
