I KNOW you can probably rent a tool from Autozone etc, but I just thought this was an amazing method of pilot bearing removal - and just FUNNY!!

And it WORKS - took me 5 minutes - and that included opening the bread wrapper.

And thank you youtube - AGAIN!

I tried this on my Mustang a few years back. Didn't work for me but I would definitely try it again, my father thought I was crazy (didn't help it didn't work :)

Just a newer spin on an ancient technique. Its hydraulic pressure. Thick grease works perfectly, no need for bread lol, just use a clutch alignment tool or old transmission input shaft as the piston, tap as shown, the bushing will pop right out.

I have used grease and it works.
Besides, every roadster owner should own a grease gun.......LOL

Guess if you can't afford grease you have to make do with BREAD lol
In Manu's case it would be FRENCH bread  :smt005

I do have a grease gun, but it's messy - and I only posted this because I thought it was a cool, old school solution that works. And I had to try it, and as I said, it works really well.

And if Manu wishes to use a baguette - why not? Just save le pain pour le fromage et du vin!

Grease is the stuff, I have used it many times. Grease doesn't compress like the bread, so you don't have to keep adding more.
I do have grease in my garage, I don't keep bread there! :-)
