Here is the 2018 SHEDD Roadster BBQ Info.

SHEDD ROADSTER BBQ

AUGUST 18, 2018

Thursday – 8/16/18

Evening Salmon BBQ – 6 PM - Lots of roadster talk (BS) – RSVP ONLY

Friday – 8/17/18

Leave Shedd at 10:30 am for drive to “The World of Speed”. Tickets at door or online $10 or less – lunch and easy 2 hour looking at cars. Those not going to the World of Speed may want to go shopping in Eugene or Woodburn. 4 pm help setting up awnings, tables, chairs etc. 6 pm dinner – Renowned Seattle Chef, Don Anderson. RSVP Please. Roadster BS.

Saturday – 8/18/18

Leave Shedd for Fun Run at 11 am. Route by Bill Cole and Ted Heaton.

Return for BBQ around 2pm. Food, pics, gossip and roadster BS.

Hotdogs and burgers – BYOB and side dish.

Lots of free camping and trailer parking. You are welcome to bring roadster stuff to swap, sell or give away.

SHEDD Roadster BBQ Event update.

Revised run to World of Speed for Friday Aug. 17th

It takes an hour and 45 minutes to go from Shedd to the World of Speed so it would be easier for those coming from the North to meet there at approximately 11:30.

We will return via a scenic route through farm country. If you want to leave with us from Shedd meet here at 10am. We will take the freeway to Woodburn and then West to Butteville Road to Wilsonville.

Hey Pat, we will get there Friday afternoon too. Maybe we will finally meet.

Yeah...Lookin' forward to put faces to names finally.

It would be nice to have name tags with our location and 311s handle to help keep everybody straight. A couple of years ago, I went to Solvang and enjoyed meeting a lot of folks. It was a bit overwhelming trying to sort everyone out.

Well be there with half a dozen or so.

This year at the Shedd BBQ we will have a silent auction table with various roadster parts to bid on. Myself, I have about 10-12 items to donate for a contribution towards the rising cost of the popular Shedd BBQ hats, I hope to see my items bring in at least 10% of Bill's cost. The deal is that 100% of the auction proceeds will go into the 2019 Shedd BBQ Hat donation jar. If you would like to contribute, you can by just bringing a roadster related item or two that will bring interest to others. Items that receive no bids are still donated and will not be returned so they can be placed out in 2019 for the following year. It would be really cool if we could eventually cover Bill's cost for the hats, to be honest, it might take a year or two but I believe it is a reachable goal for us to achieve.
