Edit: Make sure you clear your browser cache if you are having login problems. I’ve put together a step by step:
1. Google it
2. Follow the instructions



Is anyone else having login problems the last few days? (March 30/18)
When I try to login, it will take me back to the forum index but not log me in. Intermittently, if I try logging in 5-7 more time it will finally stick. Same issue on 2 different windows machines and an iPad. I thought it was a password issue so I reset it but the issue remains. I finally got my iPad to login but not the other devices.
Any thoughts? Just a DNS thing on my side? The mods finally get sick of me

Send a message to Steve. I was having a similar problem. I started getting an illegal use of server notice. Thought I was in real trouble.

Please make sure you clear your web browsers cache. That is the root cause of most of the login issues. Here is a link that explains browser cache clearing.

I apologize for the issues but this is a safer environment for us all after doing this.

Thanks Steve, that worked. Shoulda cleared cache and ipconfig/flushdns before I posted but I guess I was avoiding having to log into all the other sites again as well.

Yeah, sorry about the pain for everyone but it is all for the better. Ken, you are no moron you were just trying to log on a few times too many. Cheers.

I had some issues logging in too... Im obviously in now and I will clear the history on my browsers too

I cannot keep logged in...the box no worky

It keeps booting me out and even logged in says i dont have permission to view some attachments? I will clear browser history and cookies to see if that fixes it.

Yes ,just did , but it still loses the login going to active post , or returning , I had the old page saved ,so through that away , but that wasnt it

I had problems, but after I changed to index.php it worked fine.

Steve, i can login on my laptop and tablet but not my Android smartphone. I've deleted browser cache. ???
