New member, upcoming roadster acquisition!

Hey everyone,
I have been lurking for some time, and avidly searching for a roadster to call my own. As I have an impending acquisition. (3/7-3/8), I figured it was time to officially join.
A little about me... I'm located around Houston, TX. I'd call my self an avid and aspiring "backyard" mechanic (as I'm in no way an ASE cert., but have many seasons as a track mechanic with a competitive Pro3 team and too many past projects including Z's, Rovers, BMWs, Jeeps, 4runners, fords and anything else I could get my grubby hands on). I previously operated a sand blasting/metal fabrication and motorsports restoration/modification botique in Tacoma, WA).
I've learned a lot, realized how much I don't know, and couldnt be more excited at the prospect of my impending financial blackhole. I tend to measure my projects in Grins-per-gallon in stread of quarter mile times, and have never even entertained having enough money to consider track times as a metric for myself. With ny personal projects, Ill spend the time before the money.
All of that said, I'm always down to lend a helping hand where I can. I love having an active community to be a part of. At this point on time, my daily is a f250 powerstroke... So if someone is in a tight spot or needs some serious grunt in the area, feel free to reach out.
Also, Im about to undertake a cannonball run from HTX to NC mid next week in case anyone needs transport/eyes on a find/or whatever
Cheers!
