Technically they are still taking entries. The late fee doesn't apply until next week. It completely makes sense, as they are dealing with a ton of Nissan entries. The good news is I have been planning based on a yes for a couple weeks. I will be ready to go.

by less frustrated
Have stayed at Peaks of Otter several times. On the Blue Ridge Parkway at Roanoke. Very relaxing with restaurant in lodge. Rooms are comfortable, not fancy. Some rooms in lodge. Most in detached motel type buildings. On a small lake.

We are at a Quality Inn just outside Roanoke. I am supposed to say hi to everyone there from Dave Brisco. I have to find out if VIP tickets lets us sneak in on Thursday. I will try to find out by way of the website. We will be there tomorrow.

Currently driving from Atlanta GA to Charlotte NC (home) when all of the sudden noticed a red Roadster pulling a tiny black trailer on the opposite way of the Interstate (I-85 S near GA welcome center). I was so excited to see this, unfortunately I can’t join you all at the Mitty since I’m flying out for 2 days.

I wonder who that was on I-85, if anyone needs a pit stop on their way back home around Charlotte let me know, would love to meet some fellow Roadster owners!

Carl, I’m glad you made it safely; weather was pretty bad today along I-85. Maybe one day I would have the opportunity to experience a trip that long in my Roadster, you rock! Hope you have lots of fun.

Had a great first day at the Kitty. Talked with many Datsun fans! The roadster and tiny trailer got a lot of smiles. Oh, shaking hands with 2 famous folks was a treat. Which folks? John Morton and Alvin of course! OK, off to the races!
