Hi everyone! I've been quietly thinking/wanting to get a roadster for over 15 years now and am finally in a position to look at purchasing one. I've poured over some of the buying guides online, and think I have a pretty good handle on things, but I wanted to share some pictures of a local roadster that I'm considering. Anything from the pictures you can see that I should be made aware of? I did notice that the dash has a crack in it. It's a 68 2000.

Here's some additional info from the seller: It has the larger 2000 cc engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. Recent work includes: complete brake overhaul converting to Volvo disc brakes with the larger rotors and calipers; rebuilt carburetors; major tuneup with rebuilt distributor and electronic ignition; new voltage regulator; and all fluids flushed. Paint is fairly decent but there are a couple of rust bubbles. Overall, body is very solid. Chrome is also in nice shape. Always garaged.

That does look like a very nice car, more importantly it looks very complete. It probably has seen a fairly recent restoration. The outside mirrors and the steering wheel are not correct for a 68, however that's nat necessarily a bad thing as they look good on the car. A dash cap is pretty cheap, but if you have lots of money to throw at it than the dash can be recovered, albeit for a substantial sum. If it runs and drives good and your happy with the price than, well I think you know what to do

You cant put bigger rotors under those wheels with Volvo calipers. Nitpicky point tho.

That's a solid car, a few paint issues, but they're very minor. Knowledgeable owner and fair price. Lot of car for the price, especially for a Maryland car.
