Hello everybody,

I just picked up a 1970 1600 for a steal! Can't wait to begin my project and learn about these little roadsters along the way. Located in Denver, would love to attend some local events once she's a bit more road Worthy.

Welcome and good luck with the project. Looks like you got a runner.

Thanks! runs, shifts and stops (sort of). Came with a hard top, soft top frame, new door seals, new windshield seal, and all the trim. It was a bargain, I couldn't be happier!

Welcome, by the way most of us here put our roll bars behind the seats, not behind the trunk :D

Congrats and welcome! I think you should turn sort of stopping into, really well and all the time. Sort of stopping seems kind of problematic ;)

And I like the roll bar behind the trunk. Seems like the perfect location and I don't honestly know why I never thought of that :D

yes, stopping completely is priority #1. The trunk rollbar is a patented design and doubles as a bike rack, I'm taking orders. ;)
