Working on body lines, and I just noticed that my trunk lid is sunk in on the passenger side. Since there is no adjustment to the hinge pivot, how is everybody adjusting for this? Is there maybe some other damage that I am not seeing that is causing this?

Most often I am seen them sitting proud because the seal is holding them up.
The first thing that comes to mind is the torsion bar not connected on one side.

I don't have the torsion bars connected at all. I will connect them up tomorrow and see where it sits. With what you say about the seals, I might get the seals now to use to level the body lines as much as I can.

install the trunk seals PROPERLY, i.e. on the lid and then adjust.
