Tire time - how bad would bias ply be?

The original white wall on the 64 1500 is an inch wide. Radial tires have 1/2 inch whites (if you can find 13s at all). I can find the correct bias ply tires, and I really like the correct look.

How bad are they to live with?

I have a set I put on for car shows. They are only a couple years old (so no age-related issues). I love how they look, but they are really awful to drive on. The footprint is something like 4" and it's like like riding around on four ice skate blades. The only good thing you can say is the steering feels very light. The car is so much more enjoyable with radials. I'm looking forward to getting mine back on again.

That's the tires im looking at, it's not a radial. Look under construction, it says 4 ply poly.

The buisness i got my tires from specializes in making custom white wall tires from new radial tires. They can make them with a 1" wide stripe. Pretty reasonable prices too. Mine have been on for 2 summers now and still look very nice. A great choice for a car that gets driven alot but still want white walls. The business is in California, called calli tires.

I started driving in 76 radial hit in 75 but were $$$
I had 12 flats on my first car 70 charger r/t 440 4 sp BTW
the bias plys tread soaked up glass, nails, screws like a sponge , pretty sure the total was 23 flats, until in 78 or 79 I had radials
