Michelle's '69 1600 is Scooter. She terrorizes the neighborhood as she scoots around.
My '68 2000 is Scorch because the PO shorted the battery to the hood and burned off much of the paint.
My '90 300ZX is Grace. All you have to do is look at the lines of a Z32 and you can see why Grace fits.
The 2008 VW GTI is Zippy (for obvious reasons).
The 2016 VW Passat is "the limo".

Datseen in honor of our buddy who couldn't pronounce Datsun. The name stuck. I ordered custom plates a while ago and they have been sitting at the DMV I've been hesitant about removing the original plates with the discontinued month sticker. They want me to turn them in when i pick up the new plates.

If all you want to do is keep the old plate to hang on the wall tell the DMV that it was stolen and that is why you are finally getting around to picking up the new plates.
