Greetings from Charlotte NC

Hi everyone, I’m new here but a long time Datsun fan. I just bought a 67 Roadster last week after deciding it was time after a long wait since I started my family 8 years ago. I’ve owned a 240z, 280z, 280zx & a 70 Roadster. Now I’m super excited to have this beauty in my garage and to find this site full of people that share the same passion.

Today I ordered a distributor from Mr. Tom Lorick over at East Coast Roadster and he suggested I should post here as I’m trying to find someone in the Charlotte NC area that can help me fine tune my 67, any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Henry

Welcome Henry! Glad you made it! Sorry I don't have references in Charlotte area for you. As we discussed, Rock Vest Auto in Lewisville is very good, but about an hour and half away from you.
Post pictures of your ride and give us any back story you might have.

Welcome. Beautiful car that looks like it doesn't need anything but to be driven :) What are your fix-it plans for the car?

Thank you Linda!

For now I just want to fine tune the carbs and make sure is running as it should so I can drive it every weekend I get the chance. I don’t plan on doing anything major at the moment as all suspension, mounts and brakes have been done in the last 12 months, it rides like a dream!

I will eventually like to do a body off frame restoration as I plan on keeping this one and hopefully one day pass it on to my son. Right now I just want to enjoy it before winter arrives.

We really should, from my experience there are a lot of Roadsters in Winston Salem for some reason, so we should have it here! (Totally unbiased plug!)
