There was a rumor milling around that the show dates would possibly be changed to a cooler time than the July time frame. Seems like an excellent idea to me but is still in the planning stages for 2019. I received this from Rochelle Tilton the new organizer yesterday.

This is Rochelle Tilton and I am the new contact for the Shasta Meet. There have been some rumors going around that we are changing the date of the meet for 2018. This is not true! The Shasta Roadster Meet will be held on July 13-15, 2018.

We may be changing the date for the 35th Annual meet in 2019 but since we are new to this, we aren't going to make any major changes for the 2018 meet.

So, set your calendars for July 12-14 2018 for the Mt Shasta Datsun Meet. If you have any questions or comments-you may contact Rochelle at luv2luau@gmail.com

I hope they don't change the date for 2019. I always remember lighting fireworks then driving down the very next weekend as a kid.

Isn't it usually a Thursday Friday Saturday event?

It is in fact the 12th thru the 14th. Thursday through Saturday. I corrected it. Thanks.
