There's a pouch on the inside that warps the hinge, this loop is on the outside.

this in the red circle ? odd . but I'm not a long time rider of these yet . but I've never seen one in this spot before . do you have on both sides ?

That looks something like the top that was on my 67.5 there was a flap that I think that had a couple of snaps to hold it that partially enclosed the frame.

Yup! That's the piece, and yea, I have it on both sides.

Mine is a 67.5 also, the loop has no snaps, its just a loop that is sewn there.

haha well make something up for it's use is what I do .
note : don't do it in the engine though . not a good idea :smt005

Installing the engine on Eliza.

Seem to have misplaced some wiring since I cannot see where the temp sender attaches to the rest of the harness.

Any help would be appreciated.

The temp sender wire on our 69 1600 comes out of the main harness on the driver front near the washer pump wires. I think its a yellow wire.

What's the fuel tank capacity? Mine is a '69 1600 if it matters.

is the motor in already ? . I'm still up to learn some more about this motor , if your still tinkering with it, can I watch and learn ?
