Anyone have a good way of cleaning all the crud on the inner fenders? looks like a few decades worth of rubber and dirt... Maybe soak it in a solvent before scraping?

No real magic bullet that I know of. Scraper (as pictured) , wire brush (if not oily), scraper+brake Kleen (if oily), razor scraper. If it's undercoating, hopefully its old and brittle. Good luck and keep zen thoughts during the process :)

I believe these go to the Reverse light switch on the transmission. There will be a 2 wire harness from the transmission that meets up with this.

You can tell it is a 69 from the photos. The hood latch has the safety catch - that was introduced sometime in the 69 model year. The aircleaner does not have the nipples for the overflow vents which was a 70 model year thing. That means that (unless the aircleaner was changed) this has to be a 69. Elementary my dear Watson!

Any tips to get this little guy on? Brake light switch stopper. Can't get it all the way in to get past the ridge . I’ve heard freezing works, also boiling... it’s really frustrating me

Put a little lube on it, get it started and pull it thru with some needle nose pliers.

Di-electric silicone grease works great..extra slippery and helps to preserve the rubber. FWIW Pat
