The best part is after crawling , I have to “merge “ which means plenty of throttle... also likely why I have to fill up again tomorrow. I didn’t drive it today because of the downpour

The clutch pedal. It squeaks everytime I push it in and release it. Is this something WD40 can handle or do I need something more hardcore?
If you can hear squeaks and rattles than you have too much muffler :D
Heard That! literally

WD40 worked, now I can only hear the spring flexing, but thats fine. I will keep you all updated if this lasts.

I havent stuck my head back there yet, but how is the s/brake light attached to the dash?

Can it be popped out, so that I can put something else there?

The 68 is hard wired, 69-70 has bullet terminals.

Ok, thanks.

Next random question. Again I havent crawled under the car to confirm these things... Just stuff that pops up in my head as I daydream at work.

Is the item circled in red a frame attachment point?

Happy to help. I believe that there are 14 body mount bolts if memory serves correctly. A pair by the horns, a pair about mid inner fender, a pair in the footwells as pictured, a pair near the back of the cockpit maybe?, a pair in the front of the rear wheel wells, a pair below the shoulder harness mounts and a pair in the trunk. It has been many years since I have yanked a body, so I am sure that something is wrong - those that have done it more recently can correct me.

Most likely know the answer to this but is there anyway to replace the T/O Bearing without an engine/tranny pull???

Well, you could cut a hole in the bell housing, torch the old bearing out, saw the new one in half and then weld it back together after placing on the shaft. It might be better to just pull the engine
Seriously though, some have cut out the X frame to remove the transmission. Seems like as much work as removing the engine.
