Hello everybody wanted to start off with an introduction for myself and my car. My name is Joshua Sanders and I live in Rogersville, MO deep in the heart of the Ozarks. I've been modifying and building cars of all sorts for all of my adult life, I've never really had an affinity for a certain brand or type of car. If it has an engine and wheels, and I find it interesting I want to own it. That was until I met a certain car club based out of Springfield, MO called Ozarks Z Club a group based on the Datsun, Nissan, and Infinity brand cars (mostly Nissan Z cars). It was then that I feel absolutely in love with Nissan/Datsun. But for the last 4+ years I've been building a 1986 Mazda RX7 Sport Edition that had gained a very large internet presence and popularity all over the world, as it was the only true Rocket Bunny FC in the United States. But just a few months ago after nearly completing the project a drunk driver ran a stop sign and t-boned me in my RX7 totaling it.
Moving to now, I finally had a chance to get into one of the few Datsun cars I've been drooling over for the better part of 5 years or more. A 1969 Datsun 1600 Roadster. It is for sure a full on project that needs a full restoration, gotta love Mid-West winters... Anyways, I'm the fourth owner of this specific car and I hope to be the owner for a very long time to come. I won't post any pics of it in here since I will be starting a build page in a different location of this forum.
Thanks for stopping by and reading this, hope to get to know the lot of you and am super excited to get started on the long term project.
