Nor Cal/ So Cal roadster meet...
Hey all,
I was thinking a bit today and thought of something... How would a So Cal and Nor cal roadster meet sound? The So cal travels up north and north travels down south and we all meet halfway?? It was just a thought maybe you guys can help me out to think of something for all of us roadster owners to get together..... I think it will be fun!!

Kinda depends on what you determine as NoCal and SoCal.
Mt. Shasta ==> SoCal people go north.
Solvang ==> NoCal people go south.
South Bay (San Jose) is in the middle. Short drive for Matt and Alvin!
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Hmmmmm, if I remember my geography, San Diego is not exactly halfway between NoCal and SoCal.

November 26th and 27th (thanksgiving Weekend) the Green Flag Driving association is having a track weekend at Buttonwillow Raceway. It is just past Bakersfield. About 100 miles from LA. How far from NorCal?
We could all meet up Buttonwillow on Saturday and drive Sunday. Cost is $200 per driving day.
According to their website, rollbars are recommended, but ARE NOT a requirement.

RE:North/South
Now that sounds like fun.
I have heard many good things about Buttonwillow. I really have to plan to make that some how. I have also heard of the Green Flag Racing. It would be cool to get a gaggle of roadster out there on the track.

Hey! How did I miss this thread! Are we still on?
My 2ct is San Diego is too much and we'll lose some of the NorCal'ers. Buttonwillow is far more fair in that respect.
"Tuck and Roll"? Is that code for an evening in the Zona Rosa? I Do like that Idea! But that's a destination to take a beater to, not your lowered, pretty Roadster! Then again, There are the Park-And-Rides at the border for a better option. I mean, we often Roadster to Lunch, why not roadster to stip clubs once in a while?
To me, the fact that we meet in Solvang in the spring does not spoil the idea of meeting on the Central Coast again in the late summer/fall. It so beautifull there, it just doesn't wear out.
