Wow! First thing I did when I woke up this morning was to watch this, connecting up the pad to the TV so I would really see and hear it. THAT WAS AWESOME! Must have been an absolute blast Alvin, and you can see what a nice and fun guy the driver was. The crew really did a great job capturing the the sounds, the shifting, the mechanical feel of the car... even their soul. Sooooo cool. Normally I'm not overly thrilled by watching his stuff... it's fun alright, but nothing beats driving the car. In this case, they really got me... I felt the thrill just sitting on my couch. Great job, and my hays off to everyone who was involved!

Nice! I subscribe to that YouTube channel. Great to see one of the Roadster reps behind the scenes. Way to go Alvin! On a side note, i wrote this long letter to Jay Leno on his website. Lord knows if he sees it, but the jist was, hey why haven’t you featured a roadster yet!

Ahhh you are a lucky man indeed Alvin! This was defiantly one of my favorite episodes.
What road is that? all hw35?
And what exhaust system do I have to buy to make my roadster sound like that Hakosuka

I think they did the best they could considering the extra windy conditions. Personally I think the music might be a *tad* too much but it still sounds wonderful

Jay had a highly modified street 510 on his show, so I don't see why not!

Mostly 35 near Windy Hill, coincidentally the same spot I proposed to my wife!
Add two cylinders to your roadster and you can make it sound like the Hako

Great writeup! Finally got a chance to go through it. Thanks for showing the camera gear too. Interesting all the work and crew that goes into putting it together.

And $7.89 a gallon! I thought river gas prices were high.

Glad you liked it! They had some cool gear, tons of batteries, etc.
The expensive gas is 101 octane
