If you want to spend a lot of time dorking around with it, you can make it work, but the bolt holes/pattern is not the same. Get the right one and be done with it.

Assuming you mean intake and/or exhaust manifolds, no. Heads are completely different.

Yeah I want to put Webers on our 2000, but the Solex manifolds are so expensive I was looking for another alternative. Why doesn't anyone else make a manifold like they do for the 1600, it seems like there would be a market??? :(

Speaking from experiance, don't put webers on, the Mikunis are better carbs. Ive spent way to much time dorking around with Webers, when the Mikunis are set and forget. PM Nomadtrash, he has a guy who might be able to make you an intake for less than what it would cost to buy one.

Thanks, I will PM him. I am actually gonna put Dellortos on there. I bought a set for our 1600, but we are planning on swapping that motor out. Thanks again!
