pictures. how do I post 'em?

Post by dmkberger »

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to post pictures on this site...
Could someone younger or smarter than me, tell me what to do and how to do it
Guess I am getting too old for technology these days....

From the full editor (Post Reply for instance), scroll down below the initial text box. You'll see a boxL Filename with a "Browse" button next to it.
Click on the Browse button, and search for the file you want to upload on your computer. Once you have selected the file, and the path/name appears in the formerly blank box, click on the "add the file" box immediately below the "browse box". If you want you can add a comment that will appear with the picture, but write that in the box to the left of the add the file button BEFORE clicking "add the file".
The picture will now upload. This might take a few seconds depending on your connection speed and file size. You can repeat this process to upload multiple pictures.
Now, VERY IMPORTANT, once you have all the files you want uploaded, click the SUBMIT button, you can use either submit button, the one you hit to submit your original message. (what you select when you are not loading pictures) or the one below add the file..

Congrats on figuring out the picture posting! Keep them coming. That's an interesting grill, can you post a clearer picture closer up?

One of my favorite roadsters is powered by a KA24DE. This is Herb's '66 and was an inspiration for my roadster.
Good luck and make sure to check out the Engine Swap section when you are ready!

I still can't figure out how to post pictures without going to another hosting site.
I am missing the bottom portion under the Upload Attachment bar, per your picture. I am in the full editor mode.
Any advice?

Just to the left of save draft, click attachments. Add files will pop up. Click that.
