I removed wiring harness, dash, windshield wiper motor, heating system and am now ready to put all ack together. Any tips on what order I should do it in?

Heater, wiper motor, wiring harness with wires marked as to where they go, dash with instruments installed, windshield, and center console.

As the Nissan/Datsun Manual would say, "Assembly is the reverse of disassembly".
Just a hint: -I ran a separate ground wire from each and every dash gauge to the heater screw ground terminal to ensure all gauges were properly grounded.
You can never have too many grounds on a car.

Thanks! This is what I'll do. I was debating wether to do dash then instruments, or dash with instruments already installed. Is this usually the easier way? I'm guessing there are challenges to both.

Yes, I found the gauges intalled method harder to connect wires etc. so I would go with just fuel and temp installed on older cars. I found getting bulbs in and cables in easier with the gauges hanging (esp tach and speedo).

Guess yours is a little different than mine though with combination gauges. Still the holes from the tach and speedometer aid in plugging in everything else.

I find that the gauges installed in the dash method easier to get the wires and bulbs installed, especially if the center console is not yet in place. I also used Nissanman's tip of grounding every gauge with a single wire running from gauge to gauge, then to a known good ground. It works a treat.
