My first Datsun -- 1968 Roadster

Hi All,
Fell in love with the Datsun Roadster about 3 years ago and waited and waited to buy one. Finally bit the bullet and purchased a 1968 Roaster and before purchasing it. By no means is it turn-key, so I had a trusted mechanic take a look at it and he suggested an engine rebuild, re-sealing the rear differential, and rebuilding the carbs -- the transmission also makes a not-so-good sound when I go from second to third.
I live in Southern California where there seem to be a lot of Datsun restoration places / people. I was wondering if the group has any recommendations of people / places in the Los Angeles / San Fernando Valley area where I could theoretically get all this work done under one roof?
