This is an incredible event taking place in San Diego. I drove my roadster in last year's Touge and it was memorable.

Cool Alvin. That top pic looks like the Del Dios Hwy if I had to guess. We just got back spending a week roaming around that area. The second best part of that highway is that it takes you to Stone Brewing in Escondidio ;)

I have also applied. While it was a long day last year, it was a good time.

If you can prove your car is without a doubt matching numbers, has Solexes and Koni's....you're in

The roads/scenery was pretty epic in that area of SoCal...had no idea how vast it really was! I can't ID the road, but I think someone released the actual route here.

Yes to matching numbers, yes to Konis and yes to twin 44 Solexes ! I can prove all of it. I mentioned the Solexes in the paperwork but I didn't mention the other two criteria.

I was totally joking. I don't know their criteria just thought your signature was funny

Ha ha ha. I fell for it, hook line and sinker!

Later I was wondering, (besides that your car is beautiful) how did your car got picked if they were looking for factory stock. LOL

Maybe I should change my signature. I really don't care if anyone has any of the options. I've been in beater 311s and I love them all the same.

I didn't apply, since no roadsters participated in the inaugural event JNC reached out to a few folks here.
Factory stock is not a requirement. The cars that participate are far from factory stock, just look at the pictures!

Well...my signature was a little pretentious. It needed to be changed. I don't want to be perceived like that. I like to be approachable and helpful but definitely not snotty or pretentious.
Your kidding was an eye opener,

I had applied a couple weeks ago. I'm assuming that if we did not receive an email as of yesterday, the application was denied? Did anybody receive a notification? I would think they would let us know either way but...
Thanks,

Larry
