Make sure you hook it correctly. I had to search for the wire layout.

3 wires, ground, black, 12v, yellow and gauges, blue.

I hate to say it, but it's been entertaining to read about your wiring adventures... and reinforces my thankfulness for a flat dash (having been under mine many many times, thank God for chiropractors!) and for Curtis, who rewired my car! I didn't have turn signals for 30 yrs... (Let me know when you want the EI dizzy Curtis!)

It was so funny fixing the turn signals. Like to know who got in there and took out the little U shaped connector plate in the switch. One lousy little piece of copper kept them from working for 30 years.

Yeah great... turn signals. I'll cross that bridge when I get there. They worked previously after the $300 OEM turn signal assembly went in. Just need to re-wire the lights as they are now LED. That'll be tach gauge time. I need to pull the tach off of the ECU on the SR. Port #2 per the schematic. Hoping to be on that topic by wednesday.

You must use Vulcan logic and control your emotions. Never mind I was pissed off that I couldn't find something in my messy garage Saturday that was right in front of me sort of. Mixed the part up I was looking for with something else.

Ok, Positive and ground harnesses made. All gauge wires have connectors. Still waiting for the new gauge voltage regulator to arrive.
Tach work begins tomorrow with finding the right port on the SR20DE's ECU. DE is different than DET's. DE is port #2, DET is port #7.
Need to wire the turn indicators.
Need to wire the high beam light.
Need to bring gauge LED light power from the headlight switch.

Getting closer. Come on mailman.

Careful....watch ouit for "while I'm at it".
I'm in a similar place on the '69. Dash with new cap sitting on the bench.
I looked at the ragged inside windshield trim and decided something had to be some. The old stuff was shredded in several places and brittle, falling apart. I tried to buy "the good" replacment but out of stock so ended up getting the '70 style from Dean.
I checked the old screws holding on the clamps and some were 10-32 and some 5 mm so off to the hardware store for a 5 mm x .8 tap to matche the new screws. Cleaned up the threads on the windshield frame and started to sand, file and fit the new trim.
My wife (her car) walks out in the garage mid curse and says "gee, those plastic parts are shiny". This evening, I'll be rubbing them with maroon Scotchbrite to take the gloss off and better match the dash cap.
And, on it goes.
At least I'm using stock gauges with leds so no extra wiring.
