I'm pretty proud of this one. Full story on our very own Eric Straw (SR311DET) and his Skyline restoration.
Enjoy! And wait until you see what he's got in store for his roadster soon!

Wow, cool. 462hp on stock turbos and injectors! Must be a blast!

Those turbos are at the edge of performance at that tune for sure. I put billet impeller units in my RB26 stock turbos as added insurance due to the stock ceramic blades coming apart at some age point.
I really enjoyed this car at Long Beach last year.

This car is awesome and the period correct interior is on point. Fully loving the orange interior lighting. Reminds me of my old Nakamichi tape deck that I paid too much for back in the day. But I had to have Azimuth controls! Anyway, I had an opportunity to ride in this thing not to long ago and it's intimidatingly fast. When it comes on boost, the world in front of you blurs a bit not to mention makes an incredible sound. In fact, the sound on that dyno video doesn't do it any kind of justice. I look forward to the re-tune with the new turbos. Should be just ridiculous enough!

Agreed on all points
Our time with the DR was limited but rest assured I will take some better in-car footage when Eric visits the shop in a few weeks. When I went for a spin (at night) it was dizzying. But never out of control scary...this chassis can actually handle the power and put it down well. The brakes are nuts.

Alvin and I had the good fortune to drive Eric's DR30 back from JCCS to ZCG in September-- what a fun ride that was! A very, very impressive and special car indeed!

Beautiful car with a lot of power, looks clean to me.
Nice engine as well, RB26, CA18 with two extra cylinders.

It is not a 4-cylinder. It is a Nissan RB26DETT inline-6 cylinder engine. It now makes 532 on pump gas.

I'm very sorry. Not exactly the same is it?

But seriously, I've seen this car around the web a few times and am amazed each time I see pics and read the back story. Absolutely stunning, no holds barred, no expenses spared, righteous build!!
