Has any one ran Dellorto carbs on there cars. Are they as good as the other brands like minkuni or webers. What about parts for them.
I was maybe going to put them on an L16 in a 510. not on my Roadster.
Thanks Arnold

There's a 2000 Roadster on eBay right now with Dellortos. First Roadster I've seen with them. Maybe send the seller a message?

Datsun-less, had enough money to buy Andrew's, would have been tempted but probably not bought it anyway (need the money)

Hey Arnold,
I run Dellortos on my Cortina race car and I really like them. As far as the differences between them and the webers and mikunis, I can't speak on the mikunis (since I've never really dealt with them) the Dellortos have more progression holes for smoother off-idle transition than the Webers. I believe Webers have 4 holes and Dellortos have 6 holes. I have only driven race cars with both of these carbs and so the off-idle transition isn't really important to me so I haven't tuned for that (it idles in the pits well and it goes fast at WOT, really all that matters to me) but for a street car the Dellorto would be more treetable than the Weber.
As far as a supplier of Dellorto stuff try CB Performance at (559) 733-8222. This is where I got my rebuild kits and jets but it's been about 4 years since I've bought from them. Good luck.
