"A Datsun nut since forever, trust me, these cars suck. Body on frame, British-style electrica, and your fabulous choice of an underpowered and archaic engine or an underpowered and unobtanium engine.

It’s like a 50's MG got busy with an 80's Mitsubishi.

No thank you.

Source: Had a 1600 and a 2000. Both sucked, but the 2000 sucked worse."

No love from this guy...

Ha ha...I love that logic...the same guy would argue that he'd much rather have a '75 Mustang 2 than a '34 Ford coupel
After all, it's got rack and pinion, a unibody, good electrics, etc.

Like Mr Baker said, some get it, some don't.
And, on the Internet, everyone's "facts" are the same.

There are a few chuckleheads on there. They all lust for something newer - to each their own.

Sounds like he doesn't really want an older car. If you don't want to actually drive a car or if you don't enjoy working on a car or even the hunt to find the elusive part, you should stick to something new with a warranty. Auto trans, power assist everything, drive itself vehicle.
