As many know this car was on eBay awhile back. I ended up buying directly from the owner. I've now had the car for about 4 months. First thing I did was get it running and driving. The car has extensive service records. The motor had been rebuilt professionally from what I can tell about 13k miles and 25 years ago. Now that it runs and drives the goal is to make it a bit better looking. So off comes the body out comes the motor. My current unrealistic goal is Solvang. If that fails I've still got my Sora 67 1600 but it'll be at Shasta.

Good luck and have fun with the car! You've got to be one of the only roadster owners with a forklift - it looks like you're well equipped for the job.

As I was pulling the body off I was thinking a Nissan forklift would have been more family friendly but the old beat up Toyota is all I have.

My Yale forklift is only two years newer than my roadster, but it still gets a lot of use. Combine a forklift with some pallet storage racking and a high ceiling and you can store a pretty good number of fairly large toys.

Isn't that place for the tranny. Might be hard to shift.

I have a request. Can you put the alternator on the engine and take some pictures of the mounts top and bottom?
It will settle several questions for the 67 2000.
Thanks.

Thanks!!
Bils would be nice. As you know the bills are flying out the window to get the motor back in and running. Give me a few weeks and a combo deal on your flywheel clutch and bils and I'll be happy to support. (You could lie and say it's a package deal and I'm still in)
