I LOVE the top! The V8 is cool, a few things I would change, but that is going to be one beastly car when done for sure!

It is kind of cool in a rat rod sort of way, but why the auto transmission? To me when the auto goes into the car the sport comes out of the car. Yes, I know that some of the super cars are only available with an automatic, but this is a slush box 700r for Christ sakes. Just like modern drag racers all autos and electronics (don't go too quick or you'll loose) I'd rather have fun than be fast! Ok climbing off the soap box and will try to put the 60's behind me. Mike

"I was recovering from a motorcycle accident and was given this 311 that was rusted out and left for the scrap yard, so I decided to heal this Datsun, along w/myself. Me:Nine broken ribs, joint damage, deep bruising, broken collar bone, a collapsed lung and road rash. Datsun: no windshield/frame, seized engine, all four fenders crushed/fixed w/filler, no floor/trunk, bent frame and never ending rust. Her fist breath back to life....."

This thing has Mad Max written all over it

I wouldnt even paint it.(just clear)
IMO flying buttress C pillars with a recessed rear window (like on a 1966 buick skylark 2 door) would look AWESOME on this.....

Normally this would make me mad, but the owner is already mad! I love it and love when people save cars from the recycler. Anyone get a VIN
