Window winder/crank removal

Can someone please help confirm if I'm crazy or not? :)

I've removed window cranks before using a rag or the tool or a pick. This is driving me crazy though. I cannot locate the clip, I'm thinking maybe they are from another car and loctited on the splines?

Any help identifying the cranks helps please and thanks.

Pete

Is it possible the clip broke and a piece of it is jammed inside the handle/on the splines?

Maybe lightly tap the handle in (pushing it on) and see if something drops out. Use rubber mallet or soft face hammer.

I just tried removing mine and it was impossible. I removed the clip and tried using everything. To the point that I bent the regulator. I used a hack saw and cut off the arm. It was the only way to remove it. I then removed the regulator and had to put it in a vice to remove the remaining piece with hammer and flat punch. That's how hard it was to remove. It looks like there was some heavy duty glue in there. Anyways, I had to get it out, now I need to get a new window arm. I straightened the regulator and it works fine... Off to paint soon.

Damn … That sounds like someone used JB Weld on it.
Wonder what other surprises await?

Under Eliza's [rior ownership, the 'restorer' epoxied the passenger door handle to the register.
