My 1968 SPL in my web series!

Post by GenuineAlexReid »

Hey everyone! Just thought I'd let you know that a friend of mine and I have a little web series where we build cars and take them on road trips, and the second episode of our show features the rebuilding of my 1968 1600, and an 800 mile road trip through the Canadian Rockies. Here is the trailer for that episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJIrZHOZ0d8

I would love for you all to check it out, my car isn't pretty, but it sure is fun to drive! And if you're interested in C3 Corvettes, you can check out our first episode! Thank folks.

The Datsun episode will be out on Tuesday the 31st of January, and it is a lot of fun! It's totally produced by me and a friend of mine, including all camera work, editing, and music. Here is our YouTube channel where you can watch it all: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCubitu ... LikNUJZO7A

What a great episode. I was grinning ear to ear with Alex as he drove it for the first time. You can really see, and feel the pride. GREAT work, I give mad props to those that can weld - especially with the swiss cheese you started with!!!

Yes very well done, and really enjoyable to watch! I started a year before you and still a year behind you but that's OK. Hopefully I have that same grin when I'm able to drive my car again :D

One of my favorite sayings is "Adventure is what happens when things go wrong!" -- and you guys certainly had an adventure, but what a great road trip!

Really well done-- love the metal work and your efforts to bring one back from the dead...

Congrats,
