Thanks very much for the nice comments! I really had a great time building the car as well as making the episode with my friend! It was definitely a giant journey to build it, I need to thank Datsun.David for giving me the ultimatum that if I didn't buy that car, that he would have ;) You'll see the car again too! We plan on making a lot of episodes, hopefully including some club events and road trips in my newly restored SPL.

I tried to watch the video but it keeps getting hung up at the 2:20 mark & will go no further. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Excellent video. Looks like pride in ownership and a nice job of fixing all the rust. You were brave driving the car all that way for a maiden voyage.

We are going to try to release one every 2 months, we don't have a budget, but we love old cars and have plenty of plans to keep them on the road!

Yes we're going to have some in between videos, probably a welding one, maybe a carb tuning one, all sorts of little things!

The maniacal laughter around 12:55 says it all.
Good job and nice movie skills.
Nice that you aren't bitter towards the PO guy who put a shiny paint job over a Swiss cheese of rust
