2017 Roadster Calendar cover picture "Exposed"

2017 Roadster Calendar cover picture "Exposed".

In my never ending efforts at Calendar promotion, here is the story behind the 2017 calendar cover.
A number of roadster folks were involved in its creation.
The location is the 2016 Mt Shasta Datsun Roadster Meet.
Along I5 a few miles north of Mt Shasta is a large lot filled with Big water tanker trucks painted in all varieties of color.
You can not miss them from the Freeway.
Bill Neal ( Mr SHEDD BBQ) had the idea to get pictures of roadsters among the trucks. The Trucks are rented for fire fighting
in the Summer so their availability varies. Bill contacted the owner who agreed to the idea and luckily at the Shasta Meet
most of the trucks were in the lot. For the Friday morning drive we drove to the lot and were able to get our 15+ roadsters
parked besides the trucks and lots of pictures were taken. Then most of the roadsters drove to the top of the road that ends on Mt Shasta
at about 8000'. We lined up and got pictures with Mt Shasta behind.
Jared agreed to using the roadsters with trucks pictures as the cover.
I am trying to figure out how make a decent cover and not having much success so
I contacted our newer member and Photoshop wizard, datseen, and volunteered him for the job.
I sent him a bunch of pictures and within a day he had designed the cover. I was impressed and Jared liked it.
The cover has a picture from top of the Mt Shasta road with a picture from the trucks blended into the middle of it.
datseen took one line of roadster/trucks and copied it to make the "V" image. The guy is GOOD.

The picture is great!! As one that can barely turn on a computer, and still can't post pictures, thanks.
Waiting for my calendars for a up front and personal look.

Thanks all, appreciate the nice comments as always, and thanks Ted for the forum recognition.

Linda my day job is entirely in a different field. Photography like the Datsun is a hobby. Unless of course anyone in here wants to start paying, then i guess i wont object. :smt005

And no need for free calendar, i already ordered two moments after the announcement. One for me and one for the previous owner. This would be the first time i purchased a 'gift' for anyone that i bought a car from. Hope the car made it into the calendar, i know he would love to see that. As would i of course.
