Front end setup?????

Post by zippy67roadster »

I am looking to get the front end aligned next week once the new wheels and tires are mounted. What is a good setup for camber ect..? Just looking for a decent start. I have super comp springs, Koni's revalved per Lou Mondello's specs and a 23mm swaybar with urethane bushings.Every piece of the front suspension is new, upper and lower balljoints, spindles, bushings ect..

With the tires you are running, I would increase the camber.. 3 or so negative..

Or decrease the Steering Angle Inclination - SAI - to 3 or 4 degrees.......

Totally depends on the tires. Generally radials want more camber (1.5-3.5 degrees) than bias ply (0.5-1.5) but it will vary from brand to brand. I would use plenty of caster 2-3 as this induces negative camber when you turn. I also like a little bit of toe OUT (1/16-1/8") in the front.
