Glad to hear that all is well Jared.
Looks as if Wilbur is missing the ride :(

Pics submitted for Calendar consideration:
The 1st picture is of my 1967 2000 Survivor #235 which serves to prove there are still unmolested 1967 Solex 2000 original cars still out there.
#235 was found in a storage unit where it sat untouched since 1986. Otherwise referred to as "The Copart Car".
The 2nd picture proves my wife of 32 yrs. is very sweet, understanding and gets it.

1) you are submitting a picture from a Copart auction, or did you take this photo yourself?
2) How do you know it is a factory Solex car?

It is a neat survivor, but the carbs have been changed at a minimum.

I submited the picture from the Copart Auction site because that's how I 1st saw the car - on line.
As far as I have researched into the 1967 2000's the only original factory Solex cars delivered to NA were sold in Canada, the US cars were stated as all being upgrades at Dealers - ???.
My car as I purchaed it last year is a 1967 2000, #235, it has the open air breather with Solex carbs, 8 qt oil aluminum oil pan, 8 K tach, 160 speedometer, dull ash tray, rear license plate trim etc. It still has the original paint and is all solid metal.
A lot of folks checked it and had it checked before the Copart auction as well as after I got it home and no one to date has disputed it ass anything buts the "Real Deal".
Attached is a recent picture after getting it cleaned up.

There were US delivered cars that were factory solex - I base that on discussions with owners who bought them new and saw them delivered to the dealership. All US cars got the 135 hp I'd tag.

Well, we just ran the final proof and it looks good! I think we have another fine calendar. I will double check postage prices and update my original post with ordering information in a few minutes. I will be able to start mailing them off tomorrow.

Also, I discovered today that I had an old email "rule" still active! So, about half a dozen or so photo submissions went into my 2016 calendar folder and I didn't notice them until now! (after I'd basically finished the 2017 edition!) I'm very sorry about that. I'll email those folks back today and hopefully we can get some of those cars into the 2018 calendar...

Hi 19692000, thanks for attaching some photos. The calendar is officially full! Hopefully we can get your car in it next year.

He does miss the ride! I think it's been about two months since the roadster has been out of the garage! We almost took it for a drive this weekend, but I had to split wood instead.

Sent. The money is coming from Spider's account.

My wife and I were in separate rooms on our computers (such is modern life). She was working and I was pretending to work. I sent the flyer to her printer to be printed. I then wandered in and she handed me the flyer. I said, "What a great present. Thank you."
I think it worked.

Alright, the first few are in the mail! I'll send out some more this afternoon.

Paypal changed their email method and the payment notification email doesn't include the buyers email! I haven't figured out how to email folks back saying I got their payment. I can probably do it through paypal somehow. Anyways, don't be alarmed if you don't hear back from me right away. I'm getting the payments and Jon and I are sending them out!
